I called because my cat had gotten into some rubber bands, and they were ready for me when I arrived. They were honest about cost, severity of the situation, and were professional. I appreciate them telling me the facts when it came to prices. They let me make decisions to save money, and were realistic about what my kitty needed.

Had a bit of a scare with our pup - the folks at the AE Specialty Center were amazing. Quick check in process, great vet care. Hope to never see them again, but in the event we need to, they will be my first choice for vet ER visits.

We were deeply disappointed with our experience here. We brought our dog, Lucy, in with severe pancreatitis and left feeling like our fear and love for her were being leveraged to sell increasingly expensive treatments. One evening around 6 p.m., we were told Lucy was improving significantly. At midnight, we received a panicked call from another vet implying she might not survive unless we approved an expensive newer treatment. When we pressed for specifics, we were then told she was stable and expected to make it through the night. The conflicting information left us questioning what was truly necessary. This pattern continued. Before discharge, we were strongly urged to spend another $5,000 on a permanent feeding tube, again with the implication Lucy might not survive without it. We declined. When we picked her up, our bill included approximately $2,000 in additional services we had NEVER APPROVED. We disputed those charges. Lucy ate on her own the night we brought her home and continued to recover. We understand emergency veterinary care is expensive. This wasn't just about cost. It was about TRUST: inconsistent communication, pressure during an incredibly vulnerable time, lack of pricing transparency, and unauthorized services. We were promised a call from the director. We missed her first call, returned it twice, and never heard back. We believe some financial reimbursement is warranted and would welcome leadership finally addressing our experience. Unfortunately, we would not return or recommend this hospital.
